SMCSBA will be sponsoring a new board member training on Saturday, November 19, 2016, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Redwood City School District Office (750 Bradford Street Redwood City, CA). Please encourage any new board members to attend. We cover important topics such as The Brown Act, working as a governance team, and supporting the superintendent. It’s also a great opportunity for new board members to build relationships with a network of colleagues outside their district. We would also like to encourage experienced board members to attend and welcome the new trustees in our county.
