Milton Reynolds to Speak at January 25th Dinner Meeting on Evolving Understanding of Racial Bias

January 6, 2016

Please join the San Mateo County School Boards Association for our January 25th dinner meeting beginning at 6:30pm.

The meeting is at:

College of San Mateo
1700 W. Hillsdale Blvd.

College Heights Room, Building 10, Room 468 (4th Floor)

Our keynote speaker is Milton Reynolds of Facing History and Ourselves. Our association has made it a priority to continue the conversation on race, equity and education and we think Milton’s talk on Evolving Understandings of Racial Bias: What Educational Leaders Should Know, will be both enlightening and inspirational. Please spread the word about this meeting to your governance team and school site leaders. Register by clicking here or on Event Registration.

We also would like to invite all elected board members to join us for our executive board meeting at 5:30 pm on the 25th before our dinner meeting. We will be discussing our upcoming conference on student mental health that will be held on April 29th, as well as other board business. We welcome your participation in all aspects of our work. Our executive meeting is held in CSM’s College View Room A,  Building 10, Room 401 (4th Floor) from 5:30 to 6:30 pm.
